Life on the Ranch

After a LONG break, I thought I might just go ahead and update this here blog! Life here on our new ranch has had a lot of work for us to take care of and a whole lot more waiting for us, but the little things give us pleasure and keep us truckin' forward!

- Cool mountain air at night
- Looking out at the surrounding trees in the area
- Of course, looking at our own lovely trees
- The boys finding new creative things to do, like clearing a "road" in the pine tree forest as they call it, or making a log cabin from the branches that we cut down
- Seeing the roses come back to life
- Lots of extra sunshine in the house
- Seeing a multitude of stars at night
- Tasty lemonade from our own lemons
- More weather, other than sun, sun, sun. We've had thick fog, rain, rainbows, lightning and humidity!

And, here are some photos to add to what's been going on here. Except for photos of me scrubbing tree branches with a toothbrush to remove a destructive pest from the citrus trees! Oh wait, Matt did get a picture of me doing that...thanks sweetheart! ;)

Yep, that's a bit of coffee for this hard worker!
